I was raised in Winthrop, a small town in Northeast Iowa. I graduated from East Buchanan High School in 2004. I continued my education at the University of Northern Iowa. In 2008, I graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I taught fifth grade for one year and third grade for two years. This is my second year of teaching second grade.
My husband and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary this summer.
I have an adorable and incredibly smart yorkie, Toby.
This summer my husband and I welcomed our son, Jack Thomas, into the world. Our summer was very busy with him, but we loved every minute of it.
