Last week students learned about the pronouns
he, she, it, and
they. Students also learned that pronouns
he and
she are gender specific, while
it and
they are not. Students identified that Baby Simon would be the pronoun
it because we did not know if it was a boy or a girl.
Yesterday, my husband and I had our 20 week ultrasound where we were able to find out if we were having a boy or a girl. Today I shared with the students what Baby Simon was with the help of pronouns and a candy bar.
